Nuh uh, not going to happen. "He's been protecting you" is utter BULLSHIT. He has hurt the ML repeatedly and they are going to swing this around to 'Jun and the brother were right all along' and 'It was the ML's fault that he felt hurt' and 'he should've forgiven all the hurt and pain ages ago'. Nope. The brother and Jun should be apologising. Which they haven't done even once. They have just repeatedly betrayed his trust and disregarded his feelings and boundaries. They deserve to never speak to the ML again.

I was afraid this might happen, but don't do some ass-pull plot bandaid and make the ML the one who is in the wrong here somehow. This only propagates the narrative that no matter how badly your loved ones treat you, you are the who should ignore your hurt feelings and unconditionally forgive family/friends/lovers. You are wrong and you should feel guilt for pushing away those who hurt you, even if they have never shown any remorse or acknowledgement of their faults. In fact, the brother actually goes out of his way to taunt and demean the ML, and Jun also piled on to him by doubling down on 'you are wrong, you should talk to your brother, he is a good guy' while the brother was talking down to him.
