I’d say he’s always been made to feel like a loser therefore he needs to feel like a “winner” before his match? Like he has the ultimate upper hand and that he’s in full control ? Since he isn’t particularly talented, his Jinx is an irrational attempt at controlling something he knows deep down he can’t control?
