Can you give more spoilers? I don't know if this webtoon is based on a novel or you just read the raws, but Woojin has given me the ick from the start, like a psychopath. Haewon comes of more like someone really cynic, apathetic and detached from reality (high spending, lack of interest in other people) that may be a part of his personality but enhanced by childhood trauma (several sexual encounters without minding who and even unprotected is usually a need for love and validation to over compensate lack of selfsteam). I don't want to extrapolate reality to fiction but being raised by two narcissists I usually recognise certain behaviour patrons both in reality and fiction (and I'm usually about 80% right I would say) and I'm really curios to see if I'm right about these two blockheads ╮(￣▽￣)╭

I wouldn’t say I disagree with you and I don’t hate Taeshin but I don’t think Haewon really has a truama that made him that way besides his mom leaving him but he seemed to always be that way and it might be from the lack of love but Woojin on the other hand idk if you read the novel but I haven’t so ima just say from what I read in the manhwua idk if he actually drove both of them to their deaths and I won’t know until I get the backstory and I don’t think Haewon hated Taeshin but he was very annoyed and irritated and disliked him but I don’t think he hated him but yea he was a bad friend and Woojin is giving psycho vibes a but the way he is towards Haewon(づ￣ ³￣)づ
And again correct me if I’m wrong but idk the back story but I’m not disagreeing with you either but I don’t think anybody hated Taeshin in the story as far as Haewon and Woojin that I know of as of now but they proly just thought he was a pushover and for the ppl in the comments that hate him are just stupid but we are gonna learn about it later
You basically just proved what I was saying, people are excusing their bad behavior as justification to be shitty towards other people in the story, you can have trauma but it’s all about how you choose to express it. Anyways woojin is a dick and no amount of redemption is gonna make him a good person. He deserves to rot in hell, who gives a damn about how he treat haewon if he treats everybody else like the scum of the earth. It’s giving off those vibes of girlfriends who thinks it’s cute when their boyfriends is mean to everybody else but them… also yes their may be many factors leading up to taeshin killing him self but I see it as a last straw, nobody in his family loves him. He doesn’t have any friends no one to talk to. He meets this guy that’s telling him everything he wants to hear, thinking that this guy loves him when in reality he just uses him for a gangbang so I think that may have just been his last straw I definitely think that he played part in his suicide. Not to mention he did the same thing with his ex fiance like come on now….

I wasn’t defending them I was only saying that we don’t know the backstory to assume what they did in the past but from what I read in the story we only know that mc is a bad friend and ml is a possessive psycho.. That’s not defending nothing that was bad I was just saying we won’t know until they post it that’s why people are thinking the way they are in the comments besides the hating the friend part cause that past is unnecessary for them to hate him for nothing
Let's face it, there are all trash.
People get so focused on Taeshin being clingy or “harassing” Haewon that they don’t stop to ask why he ended up like that in the first place. Everyone else in the story gets an excuse Haewon’s cold because of trauma, Woojin’s cruel because of power and obsession but Taeshin’s just seen as annoying or pathetic. Nobody talks about how he wasn’t accepted by his family and every relationship he’s ever had was painfully one sided. Yeah, he could’ve laid off with the excessive calls and texts, but people aren’t realizing why he was so attached to Haewon in the first place it was loneliness. I honestly think Haewon should’ve had a real talk with him about it instead of just silently resenting him, but even still Haewon gets so much love and support from fandom like he’s this flawless victim when he’s actually a terrible person in general. What really blows my mind is people hate Taeshin more than they hate Woojin, who literally organized illegal orgies and drove two people to suicide. People lack empathy to the point where it’s actually starting to get scary. Just because Taeshin wasn’t graceful or morally pure doesn’t mean his pain wasn’t real.
