Wth? Honestly what is with the JK hate.. He’s one of the least problematic red flags yet everyone wants him to suffer. Where’s the same energy for characters like Taeju, Sangwoo, Caesar ect?
Sar got Jk beat by a LANDSLIDE he is horrible, but I think part of it is that he has... Charisma, ig? That makes him so likeable? Where as we haven't seen ANY redeeming/attractive qualities w JK. I think the author may have went too far just painting him as horrible w/o anything else. Anything positive doesn't really help his personality (yes he's dedicated/disciplined, but only to his training/career). I hope what I'm tryna say makes sense.

I hate every one of the tops you mentioned. They're even worst than jjk and I wanted them to suffer even worst . Also why should I like jjk when he put Dan thru all of that shit? Having a sad childhood doesn't mean all your actions are excused. I hope jjk goes thru twice what dan had gone thru. I want to see them end up together but I don't want to see dan being the only one who's suffering
I mean, when I said he's specifically worse, I assumed we all knew it was bc of stuff like, not the stuff like that being what makes him charismatic... But aight. I mean like in the story, the author tries to make funny/cute scenes w him, shows him caring (in his own bad bad BAD way) about the Mc, stuff like that. Again, I still think he's easily way worse of a person overall, but this is just what I think.

The 'charisma' you're trying to attribute to him is simply due to his contrasting image of being an inhumane dipshit yet possessive of his own lover at the same time. So eventually, its not even charisma at all, its the author painting a justifiable insanity. JJK on the other hand, lets give him the benefit of the doubt. The story is still unfolding and is approaching the middle arc i would assume. And its honestly a plus point that the Mingwa did NOT try to make him an actual psychopath whos mistaking obsession with love and care, therefore, his contrasting actions are considered as 'charismatic' instead, by your standards upon Caesar ofc.
Yeah, like I said in the original comment, charisma probably isn't the right word, but I couldn't think of the right one at the time. And like I also said, I think he's way worse than jk, bc of how insane he is & all the horrible stuff he's done. And as I agreed w someone else in a different comment, he obvi hasn't reached the redemption point that Sar never did (and doesn't deserve). I was literally agreeing that the hate is a bit much BECAUSE he's not done all this wild stuff that worse love interests have done.

Im only disagreeing with your choice of word, 'Charisma' and you further say 'that makes him so likeable?' which actually misled your original intentions. Since the stance in your og comment is very much vague, apologies if you think i viewed it differently(i see it better now), though my point stays, and imo rather than charisma, thats honestly and most likely pretty privileges and/or fetishism, thus why those black flag characters receive less hate than deserved.
