If I remember correctly. The top aka seo baekhan is the minister's son and he's the leader of some organization that willow ML created. In the novel they met often.

"Willow Romance" is a story set in the early days of t he Korean Empire, when the concept of alpha and ome ga (characters) was slowly becoming familiar. Because prejudice against these characters was so prevalent, bo th Gong (Lee Rok, Prince Lee Hwang-ja) and Su (Han S ang-yool) endured many hardships.
"Dirty Switch" is set some time after the events of "Willow Romance," and the concept of "former" has bec ome commonplace within the Korean Empire. It mentio ns that His Majesty Yi Rok is now in his forties. I even i ncluded a hint that he's imprinted with Yul and has two children. Readers were delighted to see this, and I was delighted.
Also, in "Dirty Switch," Seo Baek-han is considered a key figure in Prince Lee's faction. Therefore, the line "I am supporting this or that bill with Prince Lee" often ap pears.
However, I am not going into detail so that even thos e who have not read the previous work can read it com fortably.
