Genuinely interesting, it’s been awhile since a manwha had me hooked like this. I was wary for a bit that she would develop feelings for Ezra because 1. ML is so end game. I get why she was upset with him for lying to her but he’s a ride and die and I’m happy she also took that into consideration. 2. There’s nothing I hate more than the FL ending up with the man who killed her in her past life. The only way I can ignore it is if the ML was a one-time assassin or never knew the FL before killing her. But in this case FL and Ezra fought each other for YEARS and there’s no way that, plus him planning to execute or trap her at the end can be ignored. 3. There’s no true reason for Ezra to like the FL in a genuine way. And atleast the ML is obvious with his obsession, Ezra is just a sniveling actor (I still like his character as well as most others)
Also the family is so refreshing and the way they handle a woman seeking power in a conservative society is handled decently in my opinion. I wish they showed more of her business ventures and gave the Duke’s daughter a better role (considering she also likes her servant) but it has strong enough points where it doesn’t bother me that much.
Honestly, intrigued in how this is going to end. Is the FL going to get a noble title of some kind on her own? Will the crown Prince be disposed off and if so who will replace him? Is FL going to leave off as a merchant with ML or stay in her household and help them long term?
It’s nice to have so many questions on how the story will unfold as a reader, and even though there’s some rough parts, I hope the author doesn’t fumble this
