for those wondering why the duke is angry at olivia.....
he's (was) a good man, a perfect and a loving husband and father to her family.... the royal family didnt like that as he's gaining more influence than them, so they drugged him and drugged olivia's mother and basically both had s3x without each others consent .... the duke thinks olivia's mom is part of the scheme, but she's also a victim of the situation, but the duke didnt know so he just hated anybody including olivia who schemed for the family's downfall
it makes sense that he hates olivia since she's a reminder of his trauma... i really do sympathize with him but also fuck him for making olivia's life hell and letting his emotions overrun him. he really should've done a better investigation onto what happened to him instead of putting the blame on olivia
