Hmm, I'm in the grey area. Rashta was definitely a villain, lying, manipulating, hurting animals, and cutting off maids' tongues then killing them just to protect herself.
But if, hypothetically, she had better circumstances growing up rather than being abandoned by her father, sold as a slave when she was a child, was taken advantage of by the master's son, then was further traumatized by being handed the cold corpse of a baby she was led to believe was hers- maybe she wouldn't be so fcked up in the head. Maybe it's because she had already lost her mind that she's evil.
So, unless there's some alternate universe that can show her with better circumstances, better home, family, and not abused, then we'll see if she still becomes evil or maybe she'd be a better person.
