They always do sadly, you can literally make toxic stories with assholes without involving rape, SA. Like no one would forgive their rapist and fall in love in love with them. If this was written in psychological aspect yes maybe it could have been good. But since it's under BL which is "boys love" it shows that this author romanticize rape and shows that rapists are "forgivable"
Yes I agree but there could have been loads of porn without the rape. They could have made him an asshole, a mean asshole who only cares about himself, but it’s nearly impossible to come back after raping someone
