What do you mean it’s literally set up for that it’s not even just redemption. It’s set up for understanding of his own past development.

the previous king it was clear by the subtle changes in the art like his eyebrows the way that he looks at his child, the way that he spoke to him and told him immediately to leave Like he should not be here. It’s in the fact that he sent him to Henu to begin with to be married off by his own decision, only he took nobody else into account. He understood the political climate and the way that his child would’ve been treated there. He knew that he would be more free that he would be loved Because of the way that they saw omega as messengers of God

His perspective most likely changed after the MC was born because you can clearly see how fucked up his firstborn is. I feel like he originally already found it to be very iffy, but it completely changed when he was born

That’s why I said well I don’t think he encouraged it that much if anything I think he was just bigoted like everybody else was and everybody else made it worse because you know everybody contributes to the way that you think while you’re growing up the people around you do so you probably had shit influences part of this might come from just him being an asshole and the other part from the way that he was nurtured by his parents I don’t think it was this hard-core though because it genuinely doesn’t look like the father is not much of an ass it might also be the he changed after he was born like I said. So I don’t hate him like at all. I just think he was a shitty dad there’s multiple things that can make you a shitty dad and this is one of them even if you at the end of the day, make sure that he was safe which thank you, but that doesn’t change the fact that everything else made him kind of an asshole

The king is definitely prejudiced against omegas like mother rest of his country, but I think he’s not so numb or enthusiastic about omega suffering as Thorne is. His omega son was going to get sold off no matter what, so he might as well sell him off to a country that would treat him as a divine gift.
It’s similar to how old societies were extremely misogynistic, but a lot of the time nobles would at least try to make sure to marry their daughters off into stable, wealthy, and secure households. The king married his omega into foreign royalty who would at the very least not degrade him for his trait.
Thorne is different because he is going back on an international agreement to try to sell off the expendable omega a second time even though he has already done his “duty” to his country. He is essentially trying to prostitute his omega brother out to whatever parties can benefit him most. I say prostitute because you can’t really call it a marriage agreement if it can be be broken and replaced as soon as a more “beneficial” match is found. It’s more like “you can sleep with this omega until I find another use for him”

But are awareof the fact that Hanu treats Omega's as divine? Or did he just simply chose to send of his omega son to where might at least be treated well enough to mot suffer like here.

It depends on how competent the king is. Generally speaking, nations do research on other countries that they have diplomatic or trade relations with. The existence of those relationships generally require at least some communication. This research is vital whether a nation wants peaceful relations or not, because differences in procedure/culture can cause your financial, war, or political goals towards that nation to fall apart.

This info is especially vital because Hanu is much larger and more powerful than Romeridall, so It’s dangerous to be ignorant about potential threats and important powers in your region. Basically what I’m saying is that any half competent nation will know at least basic information about the culture, religion, and society of their neighboring countries.

On top of that, there needs to be at least some degree of communication to know appropriate procedures to contact another ruler and work out a marriage agreement. That’s months to years of negotiation and ironing out the details. My personal opinion is that it is well known that Hanu is omega friendly. Also Thorne made a comment about his son daring to speak to a lowly omega because of his Hanu blood (probably distant on his wife’s side), implying that he is aware.

He’s aware, but he still thinks it’s a good idea to just send in a replacement like like it’s an object that’s gonna work. Tell him that his husband is sick and think that he can just sell him off to a different country. I feel like he’s either playing the long con and hoping that he goes to save his husband
And the idiot king lies to ML by by telling him oh they kidnapped him. We’re not having good relations with them, hoping that you know he attacks the other country they fuck it up and then he reads the benefits out of both of them while they are confused either that or he’s genuinely fucking stupid, but even if he was playing the Loncon, his brother would still talk though

Thorne is so deep in the bigot hole towards omegas that he is barely capable of comprehending the idea of them being treated like normal people, so if he actually realized they were revered in Hanu he would probably just human bluescreen and start drooling on himself.
Even if he understands that omegas are treated well, he probably assumes that the relative hierarchy of value for alphas and omegas is the same, meaning that an alpha princess is a definite “upgrade” because how could anyone ever take an omega over an alpha?
I don’t think they’re really trying to ensnare Hanu into a conflict with the other nation because what they’re currently planning seems to be based on the assumption that Hanu won’t investigate or protest the switch, would be counterintuitive if they wanted to pit Hanu against their enemy.
It’s also unlikely that this agreement would be kept secret if it is part of a temporary peace treaty. Both countries would make announcements to the public which would include the identity of who was married off as part of it. This is both assurance to tired and war weary citizens and insurance in case one side violates the treaty.
