Yeah he was indifferent to her from the start and mainly focused on her mother...which understandable but pretty insufferable of him. Still, both had to come to terms that they are father-daughter and in the end their formed a bond. That's the best outcome in this situation

Yeah… so he was a trashy father. I don’t mean the whole „couldn’t see your daughter for 20 years” thing, I mean everything he did after meeting her. He didn’t see her for that long, but all he did was be rude to her and force his will on her. He treated her like a heir, not his child. He insulted her, controlled her (didn’t even ask her opinion on anything, just forced her to do what he wanted) and ignored her otherwise. Sorry, but the whole „he was awkward and misunderstood” does not work here. He was a trashy father. He got a bit better in the end, sure, doesn’t change that he was pretty much a deadbeat before.
But I also blame mother here. I don’t understand why she let him treat their daughter like that. She obviously has a lot of influence over him, she also knows he knows how to be affectionate because he is to her. If she knows he cares for her then she should’ve guided him on the right path, not just watch as he neglects her for 3 whole YEARS before saying smth here and there. He had 3 years to be decent and wasn’t. He pretty much forced a dangerous and complicated mission for her to solve alone, as someone who is supposed to be super powerful he was kinda useless. His name was the only thing that helped FL in this manhwa. Her mom barely did anything about all that as well. Sorry, but in my eyes they simply weren’t very good parents
