True, that's why he needed his 'villian' or at least an 'antithesis', someone being an extreme opposite of him. A contradiction.
Kinda like that this doesn't romanticize criminals or cops. Ofc there's the element that the ml is clearly attracted to mc in whatever level or form but that's not the focus. I don't want them romantically together and I don't want redemption for the mc because.... Like, how... he's unredeemable... Not even with a sad past lol He should stay trash and mc should stay resilient even with all the shit that's happening around and done to him. I know when cops go deep undercover they are forced to do drugs or even kill, so what he choose to do to his friend is not that crazy nor inevitable but something he has to live with. That's why I hope he maintains his sanity and don't succumb to ml's mindgames.
But I like ml's design. It's very fitting.
