i swear i read this twice and i’m still confused abt the plot. absolutely beautiful art ...

I’ll try to make this clear:

Albert gets sent to the mansion by his father for revenge against the master of the mansion. There are rumors about the master that he’s disfigured from inbreeding and cursed.

When Albert meets the master the first time (trying to kill him as his father asked), he’s overwhelmed by a maddening burst of lust and attacks the master. However the master kicks him before he can attempt anything.

Albert runs away and spends one or two weeks hiding from the master, because he’s being driven mad by hallucinations and dreams of being in all-consuming love with master that somehow feels familiar. He’s also hearing a voice that is basically commanding him to love the master enough to die for him. He also sees what appears to be a ghost.

Over the course of the chapters, it is revealed that the master Asha is a vampire, and Albert is the fourth in a line of Davises that fall in love with him at first sight. The first was Arden, who the master reveals to be his great uncle, followed by Elisa (who logically would be his grandmother), his father Alberto and now him. The masters thoughts reveal that he is also seeing this ghost, who turns out to be Arden, and that Albert is possibly a reincarnation somehow of Arden. The question is if he really is a partial reincarnation since his ghost still lingers or if the “ghost” is a manifestation of Arden’s memories returning to Albie and Asha’s guilt.

Asha also struggles with his past: his clan was wiped out by hunters and his father was killed in front of his mother after they managed to escape. This trauma drove his mother insane and she turned to abusive tendencies in an effort to prevent the same from happening to him. When he ran away as a child, she unalived herself in an intentionally traumatic way for him to find when he returned.

Last few chapters: there are 5 people who have schemed to break into the mansion and kill the master. It is revealed that the leader is Milo, who seems to be Elisa’s son (which would make him Albert’s uncle I think?). He is also a vampire.

Plot points to be developed: 1) a spooky ass ghoulish looking mf has watched Asha on two occasions. (That bitch made my heart pull a Windows blue screen.) who tf is that?
2) Elisa blames Asha for the state of their family (Whatever that is). My inference from that scene is that Milo is possibly Asha’s child? It would explain how he inherited the vampirism. And Alberto could simply have been a human man’s child (though the resemblance to his uncle is uncanny). Still be revealed.

and just wow, the story between asha and elisa is getting more and more interesting. i would be astonished if milo were his child. there’s definitely a possibility he is, but i also have a feeling that something larger is at play

I thought Albert was the fourth in line of the Blake’s. And the Davises are the family of people who wiped out Asha’s vampire clan. And the reason Milo is also a vampire is because Asha’s mother turned people—including Milo’s mother, a Davis—into vampires to experiment silver immunity.

Translation is shitty, that is why it's so confusing. I hope there will be a better translation.
