I think Hwayoung was the captain of the ship before, doing whatever he wants, but now I see Gyu-won as his anchor, he gives Hwayoung stability and grounds him.
Subjective opinion: I'm satisified with the ending, I believe they will be together forever and ever. Hwayoung's brothers would not interfere with his life now. Hwayoung's friends would support them (they wouldn't dare, esp knowing only Hwayoung's leash is in Gyu-won's hands). Hwayoung lives for Gyu-won and Gyu-won lives for Hwayoung vice verse. I don't think third parties would survive because both of them would kill (LITERALLY) them. What's important is that they're healing themselves. I love them both so much from Day 1. and now I just hope for side stories
