I just saw this! Yes!! It was suspicious how she told the king to "give up on that child". Like that's your kid lady!
Now since the new chapter came out and we see she was honest, its nit so bad but that doesn't change my earlier comment. She did what she did initially, but she corrected it.
I was thinking fl is smart but why so many dumb moments that don't do anything but annoy the reader? If she could tell Aidan about the threat letter why couldn't she tell her husband?!?! Especially since I got so happy she realized his feelings were genuine. It's like she just trampled on his genuine feeling under the guise of protecting him. How are you supposed to protect someone without letting them know and especially a captain of the knights!?!? Luke the logic doesn't follow...at least not for this..for me.
Smt..my money was on the sister being the culprit but I've to wonder if it's the mom...smt
