The way he flirts is sooo pathetic💔

I felt like that was super out of character for him…at least the way it was portrayed. I’ve never read the novel version, but the way he’s been portrayed so far is that Mason is way too nervous to approach his crush (the “goddess”) Lily, and now he’s shamelessly flirting in a really cringeworthy way? I don’t get the sudden change in his personality. (￣∇￣")

Lol, this is exactly why I said the OG story isn't better. The author is like a male writing all the crude fiction he imagined into this story.

I do read all your notes! I love the little chibi character, too. I read a lot of stories (like a LOT) and I write a lot as well, so forgive me for not remembering certain parts.

But yeah, I agree that OG Mason belongs in an inescapable trash can with a lot of other characters in these kinds of stories. It’s great (I guess) that the manhua adaptation is better in terms of making Mason less like a disgusting creep and more like a pathetic loser-type character, even though there are lots of events left out, changed, or briefly mentioned. You have your work cut out for you, but I appreciate it! <3
