That's true, but the MC doesn't know that all his relatives are killed. So it (imo) is still dumb of him to not manipulate the ML to his advantage
See idk for some reason i feel as if MC knows more than he lets on, he’s literally seen the ML kill innocent people out of jealousy. If (hypothetically) ML brought MC his daughter his daughter would inevitably be killed by ML due to jealousy. he’s at the point where he just wants to leave and escape (rightfully so) therefore i don’t even believe he can THINK of manipulating the ML for what he wants, but then again this is a complex story i guess we just have to wait and see
Why not use the king as a pawn and find your daughter using his influence? Just a little flowery words and ass, he's gon' give up and get you what you want, no?
