The torture of the mc and the other celestials from the wood people (his brother’s kingdom that kidnapped him) is over yes, if that’s what you’re talking about, if you want to know specifics here’s some spoiler from where we’re at and what would happen afterwards:
Basically the battle to rescue the celestials and the mc is over, people already told you about the other torture so I won’t go into detail for that but there will be a hard scene where they’re trying to heal the mc’s wing that basically healed the wrong way so they have to break it again and then heal it correctly to bring his wing back, but he’s with the ml and his people so even though it’s hard to watch with the mc being in pain, it isn’t exactly torture. If you want to wait completely I recommend until after that point (if I remember the novel correctly) or you can jump in now since the actual torture torture of the mc is over
