In Riku's case his anger is understandable, he's still adapting to his change in gender and family situation so he'd definitely wish for support/empathy over being helped due to a sense of "responsability"
I think it's because omegas in stories like these take responsibility as obligations. The main point that gets them upset is that the alpha isn't taking care of them outta interest of them like love but instead like a chore that they HAVE to do it even if they don't wanna
At least that's how I understood it
