I'm getting irritated with people being angry that the characters become twinkified, even in other manhwa. Like, this current body in this manhwa suffered abuse and depression. Do you really think he's going to be buff? If he gains weight, it's going to take some time. Also, what's the problem with being a twink?!

we love twinks in this house, our only thing is like every single time there's an isekai or reincarnation with body swap, the authors follow this exact same formula. it gets kinda weird when it happens every time from bigger body to smaller body. At the End of the Road is the og version of this and I liked it along with this story too. but I'm like when is an author finally going to switch things up? I think we have all arrays of body types compared to before so I'm not gonna pretend like there wasn't a recent boom in thicc characters (which I also thoroughly enjoyed), but specifically body swap webtoons always do this. other ones I'm currently reading off the top of my head are Regas and Kill Me If You Can. I think the body swap works well cause the ML is always like "who. TF. are. you." and it makes me giggle every time so it's good to confuse them with someone they'd least expect, but authors' solution to that every single time is let's twinkify him and I think they could learn to create something more original and think outside the box that At the End of the Road set

For me, there's nothing wrong with cliché as long as they tell the story well because there's really nothing wrong with turning a buff body or an average body to a thin body in their next life. People focuses much on the outer appearance rather than how the story flows, dialogue and the inner thoughts of the characters. Here, it is completely justified for the character to be thin and short - he was abused since he was young and suffering from depression. The ML also does not have any problem because from the start, he fell in love for his hyung not because of his appearance but for his personality and attitude. Even if the person he became was a subject of much rumor, he didn't care.

I agree for this one, the ML also completely disregarded the MC at first because of his appearance but he fell in love with the same person again. and I also see nothing wrong going from bigger body to smaller body, both this and End of the Road are great because it fits the story. we would just like some more variety in the future cause why are all body swaps limited to bigger bodies to smaller bodies? I enjoy all the stories I just want more variety and I think that's what others are trying to say. the story is good and it's nothing against this MC character design, I think it's just cause those of us who love and read a ton of body swap notice that authors don't venture outside the formula and we waiting for the day one of them does
