I'm hoping this is a call where they dug into it some more, and the car COMPANY was shown to be tampered with and paid off by the brother because he wouldn't have known which car it was gonna be that the little bro would pick out. BUT, knowing how the story should go, he'd get the call and day they need to talk in person. Then ML would show up and get tossed an envelope of evidence that the brother IS and HAS BEEN actively trying to kill him. So he leaves to go and find MC, only to be late. And then its an entire season of rescuing and then getting married! Nothing says love like trauma bonding
