I think thats because we are seeing Mr a from the mind of little a when he was a child, so he can’t really remember what mr a looks like, so he appears different every memory or something

am I stupid or is there… multiple different mr. a’s? it seems like every time there’s a flashback to mr. a he looks different (sometimes he’s shorter, sometimes he’s beefier with a beard) like idk maybe im crazy
