I get it, it would have been a little redundant or maybe pointless two have two cow characters. I'm still glad they kept him in the story and made him Miltons kid instead, makes the characters feel a little more human like they had a life before all this.
Fyi, creator stated that she had originally planned for Milo to be an adult but scrapped the idea. You can see his early concept design on creator's twt @nachioboy
