The thing is that Shige never wanted to be in showbiz but he was photographed kissing Shin when they were in college and the CEO blackmailed Shige to sign with his agency and didn’t have a say in any job he took and had to play a role of a prince he hated. Also the one who took a picture is Shige’s manager, who also feels awful but couldn’t refuse because of the CEO. At that point of the story the CEO is still blackmailing Shige to do what he wants or he will release the picture… ┗( T﹏T )┛

When Shin started becoming bigger Shige wanted to quit showbiz since he didn't want their time together to be curtailed by the demands of both if them being famous. He was happy being a normal person who could be with Shin without.creating problems because.nobody would recognize him or know of him. The CEO didn't want to lose the money Shige brought so he had his manager take the pic of him and Shin together and then blackmailed Shige to stay otherwise he would use the pic to end Shin's career (not Shige's, since he himself doesn't care much). Shige doesn't want Shin to find out because he thinks that if he knows Shige is being forced and blackmailed because of him, Shin will quit showbiz for good in order to remove the CEO's leverage and free Shige. Which tbh, its pretty reasonable assumption.
I will just say I'm frankly quite confused with the storyline... basically they're trying to prevent shin from signing with the company the bf is right?? Cuz the company or basically the ceo is very bad right?? I feel like there's too much stuff going on that sometimes.. it's making me confused
