I feel like it might be hard to even introduce the old lady nevermind even rom, so I bet he’ll kinda fulfill both character purposes in order for the movie to achieve a reasonable ending. I bet it will cover about the part through the first or second mountain shrine visit.
I notice that in the live action, the author mentioned there would be original male actor for the movie (that obviously is not in the manga) I might be wrong, but I bet he's going to be, like, the male lead for Miko
