I agree lmao. It’s so sad that Jaekyung went on to perpetuate that behaviour, and while I understand that Mingwa has given him some reasons to act the way he does, and the whole thing about how he doesn’t recognize affection when it’s right in his face… they’re not glamorous or good reasons and I really hope she doesn’t gloss over all this depth she just created. I swear to god if Dan forgives him without much resistance I’m gonna lose my mind.
i don't see him actually acknowledging his feelings for dan without like an intervention. specifically a therapist lol. he really needs one, when will one of these days the ml will go to therapy instead of some dramatic plot device for him to acknowledge his affections sighhh
LITERALLY the biggest sigh ever. I’ve been thinking about what intervention that could be, like maybe Heesung or Potato?? I do truly wish he would go to therapy, but given Mingwa’s track record with BJ Alex all I’m hoping for is some more groveling and not just “wow I realized all on my own that I not only care about this guy, but LOVE him” and “sunbae and I talked it all over!! yay!! that’s it!!”
they were like so we fucked him over too much we better give him the saddest backstory possible to balance it out. also it is ironic how he worked so hard ti get out of the cycle of abuse and poverty and then he went on and abused a guy sexually and emotionally and more who has been nothing but kind to him....I hate when tropes are the abused will always become an abuser I see that shit kinda alot in media and I fucking do not agree with it given I have seen a shitty family myself and I just hope dan well and him well too he needs a break a a therapist asap
