tbh, we still got pretty juvenile solutions and reactions from the immature partner aka the older one. Convo was great and inner monologue, too.

The characters behaved in more realistic way.. well, with far less cliches prior to break-up speech. Author could have gone one step further and break them up in less ridiculous way. Then it would have been peak story, imo
I get what you mean but honestly I actually think the "ridiculous" breakup fit the tone... Yeah it wasn't clean or super logical..

Oh, ok... the site does this a lot. It did fit the tone, and even theme of age "inappropriate" behavior. Although, I have a feeling that a hint of exploration of an additional reason why he maybe attracted to older guy will not be explored. Regardless it is still pretty well-written dynamic.
