I think its meant to highlight that Little A's memories aren't super accurate/reliable (which might be a plot point later according to this chapter) but to be fair Little A only remembers his uncle from when he was a young kid since his parents isolated him for years after the needle incident. Children def aren't going to remember everything exactly right, and adults tend to behave differently around kids than other adults. Also seems like Little A was there before any....furries(?) showed up to Big A's farm and that could cause a big change for him too.
