Up to this point, it is an eye for an eye. He did the same to the ML in high school and had spread the video everywhere (not just to ML's friends). He also made sure ML's mom saw it too. Fucked up ML's life, his family, his family's reputation, and his mom was mentally never the same again. And MC conveniently gets amnesia. He's in for a ride though, ML reallyyyy goes all out for revenge later on.
The fact that there are videos and pictures circulating especially in Asian cultures were reputation is at a higher standard compared to the west makes me feel devastated for the MC even if he isn’t a saint this is over board and way too many people involved for revenge. The only way the MC for truly to get over this he would need therapy and to move out of the country
