pretty sure she steals the important document that contains the information he has gathered as a revenge against his stepmother and then she gives it to her to save her sister. this betrayal was then exposed when baastian wanted to confess his feelings to her (he falls first apparently), and then he gets sent to war. they don't see each other for like 2 years.
Can someone tell me what she does to betray him and give me every other possible spoiler???
