My uncle decide to stay single to take care for his step-kid after the mother/wife died of cancer. And it’s not like my uncle didn’t have romance, he just prioritized caring for the child first because he love the kid eventho they’re not blood-related. They have like 2 pages of replies. I remember being one of the first replies bc it was so dumb. That person said they felt deceived because the story had a romance tag, except they found that this story was all about caring for a kid. I told them to look at the name and the cover picture.. because honestly, how can you not put 2 and 2 together. That and the fact that the child is the mc.. felt like op was so dumb.
And then they replied

I just read the top comment/review on this, and damn This story got them really mad.
I mean…if they know that they don’t like children MC or daycare trope, why tf they read it in the first place? They got mad at something that they themselves step into.
