Why are we all using only a half of a god damn brain cell in this situation??? Like how is this situation beneficial for any parties rather than sitting down and talking through thinhs??? We already see how hard this fcker Shin is on himself and how he easily thinks himself into a dark space (truly hope we see more character growth there). Obviously he's gonna be even more anxious if he can tell that something is so blatantly being held from him. Especially by his lover!
And honestly, I don't blame him for his "dumb" thoughts of talking to the slime ball of a geezer. Again, everyone right now is collectively using half a brain cell for one thought. Bcause although y'all (audience) say he should just trust in Shige and what's being said to him and might be upset at him, put yourself in Shin's shoes. I personally would be reacting the same - probably more pissed off than tears honestly. How I see from his view is not him not putting trust in Shige, it more so feels like he doesn't think Shige has trust in him. Imagine everyone else around you has made the decision to keep you in the dark about a situation that concerns YOU. Especially when it's people in such close proximity to you and at the behest of your lover no less! Like I get that they don't want him quitting for Shige's sake, but of course he'd only be able to blindly follow for so long before feeling disgruntled and a lack of trust when it seems like EVERYONE else knows the situation concerning him, but himself! It's literally what's pushing him to get into a car with someone he doesn't trust and has been repeatedly told not to interact with. COMMUNICATION IS KEY PEOPLE.
