i would really enjoy it if that happened. kinda reminds me of shutter island (if you've seen that movie, the mc in that film also has similar issues).
I'm starting to think MC is really mentally ill. Like I wouldn't be surprised if it's revealed that MC isn't really there mentally and having psychotic breaks/episodes which is leading him to hallucinate this whole life. & ML is actually helping him but do to MC mental illness he seems like the villain.&& everyone in the office knows he has a mental illness which is why the keep distance from him. For him to imagine his friend in a flower pot what if the friend been dead for months or yrs and he hasn't accepted it.what if the Mc was the 1 who was bullied during school & killed someone & the ML is the 1 who actually helped him. I can see that as well MC switching their stories around
