If I remember right, he's probably the future child of Prince Albert (son of First Prince Gautier who died) and the Castillan Princess. The two were engaged during the lance tournament in Lahoz. So, he's supposed to be the grandson on the King.
But he was born before Alec when his father the first prince died. Iām so confusse too.
