yeah, at least put the side characters in a spin off and let the main story officially end
i like her stuff but the last volumes are definitely not something i would buy (with a non collector mindset) or even pay to read, 18 volumes is pretty insane even if the story flows easily
this series started in 2008 and it has basically no plot, and bakamangaupdates has a review from 10 years ago how the mangaka is running out of ideas lol, and if it wasn't true then it's definitly true now haha
especially considering that she has multiple other ongoing series (ashita wa docchi da with 11 volumes (should end too tho..) and at least 2 newer series with over 3 volumes that seem to be planned as longer series from the get go, unlike sadly most japanese BL) there really is no need to drag this on so much?
You are right, but her work is good, just think her dramatic manga becomes slice of life over the years
I love Yamamoto Kotetsuko, her mangas have been with me in my BL journey for over 15? years or so, can’t remember
But now this mangaka keeps dragging her stories

Don’t get me wrong, I love the characters, her art and all, but sometimes things have to end when the time is right… right?
