Didn't you pay attention to the story? He wasn't nice all that time. He picked him up thinking he could use him. He slept in a crap room and worked for no pay cause he gave it all to that guy so they could get out of that life but dude spent it on a woman. Dude would punish him when he did anything slightly wrong. When horse dude made a pass, the guy said he should have just shut up and sucked his dick. Dude was not good to him, but MC was so afraid of being alone and abandoned that he put up with it all.
He was a villain all along with a victim mentality. He was horrible. He took his hard earned money, barely giving him anything other than hard work and told Heeseong he should just accept whatever happens? He sold him to a pervert. He tried to have him killed. He blamed the missing money on Heeseong. He almost had him killed twice! Heeseong was desperate for someone who loved him and didn't really expect anything from him. It rankled him that he couldn't kill Heeseong. Heeseong's mercy was not required.
I'm just gonna say that I found it really uncomfortable and gross seeing him act all "badass" and like a fucking mafia after 50 chapters of him being a cute little white puppy that no one takes seriously. Might drop purely because I'm ready for this story to be over
But honestly tho , that guy who picked puppy was suddenly forced to be a villain by author , like you are telling me he was so good all those years and suddenly one day he turned bad and now MC is beating him lifeless forgetting he was the one who picked him up while he had noone ? Idk seems too entitled and ungrateful to me but I might have forgot the plot cause I don't remember much about what he did
