That much is obvious. The young generation of readers tend to be shallow and with that a lot of them can't truly comprehend then appreciate well written stories like this.
This is why Korean BL Manhwas are on the rise because most of it are easy to swallow despite the art, script and the overall work being questionable to immaturely done.
True, most manhwas are an insult to actual readers (it lacks pretty much everything), a scam for porn enjoyers (because of the censorship) and a menace for kids' development (it really IS shallow).
Manhwas are a good window of Korean culture and mindset but new generations can't think for themselves and just wolf down whatever shit is shoved down their throats without any questions.

And I think the low rating is due to the only micro sex scene in the extra, kids only come for the smut thinking they are so mature for loving sex. Haha, cute.
Also, skimmed through the comments... Seriously most people just don't read. I can admit that sometimes you miss or forget things in a story, but no, nonononono, some just don't read.
Maybe you guys should switch to mrm you'll get all the smut you're after as disgusting or/and ridiculous as you want, and you can even just "read" the Patreon campaign with just smut and no text.
