i had come up with theories that maybe he was in a coma or brain dead but how he came to be a dream watcher must've been his strong desire to be given a second chance to make everyone feel love and give love. And that the sky above decided that this was enough reason, a deserving reason , for an otherwise person thats closer to death to be a dream watcher.
Andddd maybe (i havent read up to chapter 63 yet) his soul couldn't go to the nothingness after all same with the reason for not being able to go to heaven of be reincarnated, because he still has a vessel, a physical body. Or maybe the nothingness option is just a blessing in disguise for idk reasons.
