I agree with you. I feel unsatisfied. Jiwan hurt Taeyang with his words and actions over and over. I didn't feel like he properly reflected on all of that. He owes Taeyang a better apology. I think we need a chase arc for his character development. For Taeyang to leave him like he did so he will understand how painful it is.

Yeah, although that guy is not really a good one, he was stringed along by Jiwan. And it's dangerous to leave the kid alone in the care of basically a stranger and Taeyang (child) felt uncomfortable too.
Well, first he knows he is gay, but irresponsibly had a kid with a woman he doesn't love. Ah...the author doesn't seem to have a full grasp on Jiwan as a character.
I think we are frustrated because this has potential to be a real good story, but ended unsatisfying.

Yeah the author is aware he's very unlikeable but they don't seem to know how to develop his character. For example the reason he ends his situationship could've been both because he's overwhelmed and he gets that job opportunity and add something like maybe he meets Taeyang's mom and his guilt is too much for him to bear. The motivations for his bad actions are always selfish but it's not portrayed as a problem to deal with, I don't get it. He's not as sympathetic as the other characters because he seems to get away with everything... I guess the author really didn't want to deal with the consequences of his actions, but there are ways to make him earn his happy ending

Oh that's true. If he met Taeyang's mom, overwhelming guilt would explain why he suddenly left him. And we (readers) could sympathize more with his decision to leave.
The author also didn't discuss his family issue in a way that would make us feel more for him.
I think you summarized it best: he did not earn his happy ending and it's hard to sympathize with him. Author-nim could've written him better.
I love this author and this story is so heartwarming but man is Jiwan still a fucking mess. I feel like he doesn't get any development and is far more childish then he gets framed as, Taeyang is not childish at all in comparison. They deserve their happy ending but Jiwan is still extremely toxic and hasn't healed a lot of his worst habits, I wish we got to see him actually apologise and learn to be better because your past stops being an excuse when you keep hurting everyone. I hope this author does longer comics because I think there's a lot of potential that just doesn't get used... Idk I'm left very unsatisfied
