Especially considering that one start-of-chapter scene that opens with a TV news program depicting the finding of Yoshiki and Hikaru’s bodies, I think it’s safe to assume the story’s gonna end with them moving onto another plane of existence together or something. Holding onto hope that they find a way to fake their deaths, though
