Whats wrong with the 1st story?
I don't like how mc have no say in the story just overall. We only got like a brief story how mc got engaged bla3 n the other part was mostly about ml pov which I don't think helps the story at all. It feels force, no chemistry whatsoever like is the 1st story even romance? Does mc even like ml? Idek if mc is the main character in the story or not bcs it was mostly shown in ml pov. Overall just bad excution for me, like I don't mind bad or fast pacing in a one shot but the story just so meh.... overall. The author ways of conveying the story is not reaching to me
