most probably bc the older art style was kind of darker than the current one, kinda fitting for the storyline ig?
I mean yeah, totally depends on point of views!! Though i saw definitely too many people hating on the fact that the new artstyle makes Zhenya appear more "feminine", which I'm pretty sure is more novel-accurate, but of course everyone is entitled to their own opinion!! ( ◜‿◝ )♡
I don't get the hate of some people on the new artstyle tbh it's so much fittier than the old one imo
