Ofc not. I happened to see the cmts in a straight corn that MC (girl) is being graped by ugly bastard and they wish it is handsome men so that they can at least enjoy. And I bet the cmts are all women since both contents are eaten mostly by women (or girls since I felt like this site has too much under 18 girls) I am starting to agree the certain statement that men often say about women (but all but many are applied-able).

im guessing u mean codename anastasia, & im pretty sure more than half of the people wont be finding it hot if it was some ugly old unc instead of zhenya (or whoever ure talking about). but also, there ARE freaks who love rape regardless of the rapist being hot or not, but most of them here base it on the rapists physical appearance yeah

Of course not, pretty privilege is a thing. If he was some ugly old man everyone would be crashing out in the comments. Rape is wrong and shouldn't be excused even if it was in fiction. But I don't think most ppl here understand that bc the top BLs here are literally filled with romanticized rape and abuse....

If you're talking about that one comment from CA then that specific user will probably enjoy it regardless... Seen some of their comments on here and yeah... Already see some hoe blaming the victim instead of the assaulter in there. If the top was fat and ugly they're be crying and shouting how the uke deserve better.

Ok I really was just trolling, in response to your question I would say for a lot of people, the public opinion would absolutely be different if the male love interest wasn't conventionally attractive. The comments you saw, where people said the victim should be "grateful," are a perfect example of this. When a perpetrator is handsome or charming, some audience members, especially in fandom spaces, are more likely to romanticize the character and their actions. They might excuse or even justify the sexual assault as a sign of passionate, obsessive love, or a "dark" but ultimately redeemable trait.
If the same character committed the same act but was portrayed as ugly, unkempt, or otherwise unappealing, it's highly unlikely the public opinion would be the same. The audience would be more likely to see the act for what it is: a violent crime. This same "pretty privilege" definitely creates a dangerous blind spot where people overlook the harm and focus on the perpetrator's attractiveness, which is a harmful extension of real-world "rape culture." And for the comment with my username being "Taejus slut"; I definitely did not support his actions in the earlier chapters, I just like his character and design; that's pretty much it
just want to know how and what different people think while reading.
Read a comment in a story where the user basically said the Mc should be grateful cause they are so lucky (Context: Mc was getting graped by the ml) there were other similar comments.
Would the public opinion still be same if ml was not conventionally pretty or handsome?
