I feel so bad for Oleg. Maybe it’s the empath in me, but genuinely, no one in this manwha gives a fuck about him. Yes, I do know he bullied the MC in the past, but he's also a victim of his surroundings. I'm not saying this to justify the wrong things he did—in fact, MC's hostility towards him is valid. But I just… don't like how he is being treated now. He's still a kid, and I'm sure if the adults were adulting, he would've been such a great person. It's a bit frustrating for me to see the MC treat him sometimes , especially since he's still a kid and she's a grown-ass woman mentally.
But then again, I don't blame her, because Oleg was an asshole in the novel, and the MC also can't afford to lay her guard down or be emotionally invested because of her circumstances. But dang it, Oleg got me, y'all. Maybe because I relate to him in a sense—like just wanting to get validation when you've been emotionally neglected and abused. And realizing this now, he had no one… both from the novel and the present .
Well, I HOPE that changes as he progresses his relationship with the MC and we get to see him develop more as a person.
Also Tracy doesn't know that he revealed her plan on his own, without being coerced. She thinks the maid delivered her threat so she thinks he did it to save himself
