People keep saying he is Korean eminem but hes literally NOT korean. It's based in the US so even if he was white with a Korean citizenship or he was half or that was the setting I would maybe get it. But he is not. And there IS an actual korean character(Shin/the protagonist) but they still call the white man korean. Is it because the creator is korean and the story is made in Korea?
lol yeah even if jake’s supposed to be american the author’s still writing from korea’s perspective of what americans are rlly like so i still call him korean eminem cuz he lowkey represents their stereotypes about white presenting american men with buzzcuts (strong personality, loud, gets what he wants, does criminal type stuff, acts like he owns the world, etc)
and that’s why i think the author’s (sadly) probably not gonna have him get topped because they probably want him to keep this strong macho man persona which is typically associated with this concept of an american man kk sorry end of my rant
