No fr idk why ppl think that "Hikaru" is evil and kills out of malice but it so fcking annoying
IM SO CONFUSED LIKE IT'S SO OBVIOUS HE'S NOT INHERENTLY EVIL? HE WASN'T BORN EVIL? I think he did start off as just a mountain god. The mountain god folk is popular in Japan and they have shinto and shrines for many different gods. A popular story like Noragami dwells on it but anyway. The people sacrificing heads and doing stuff influenced him and his nature essentially. He became more powerful with more offerings and more stuff happening. It's not like he was born specifically to kill humans.
You need to stop justifying "hikaru's" actions lol I don't think he has empathy. he's like a wild animal, I don't think he can control himself. He attacked two of his friends, that old lady, and then he attacked a child. He's dangerous to keep around.
no one is justifying anything + its a fictional manga. he is inherently evil in the perspective of human morality. he lacks understanding of that moral depth and acts on instinct of his original self. hopefully his character continues to grow, but the author wants to give the feeling of an in-human person adjusting in a human world.
Everyone suddenly hating on Not Hikaru because a kid almost died .. so it's fine that he killed some old people but not a kid? What's wrong with y'all? Lmfao. And I disagree he's just a monster. When he tore out a part of himself and gave it to Yoshiki, he started changing. I'm not saying he's turning into a human. But he kinda is. He can get hurt and possibly die. He can feel more and understand more human emotion, not from his standpoint but from those around him. Kind of like an empath? He's not feeling his own emotions he's feeling the ones of those around him. And THIS time I seriously do not believe he on purpose saw a soul and said that's a kid I'm gonna kill them and come over lol like he had an impulse that he can't control by nature to fulfill the wish that was asked and he needed something in return to fulfill it. It's just natural to him/the way he works. It's like being gay and being born with the orientation and having someone ask you if you can just change it. No, you can't. You were born like that. And I know we're probably not getting a happy ending and I can cope with that but dpmo acting like Not Hikaru is the worst villain. I think this organization that's gonna get involved is gonna be worse. People often speak about monsters and stuff in movies and media but wanna know if monsters exist? They do. And you see them on the street everyday. And you don't even know. Humans can be more monstrous that monsters. And I think this organization might not care about throwing the lives away of other humans to achieve the containment of Not Hikaru tbh theorizing Yoshiki might die at the end
