I personally read this as Ipari being driven crazy by lust, especially with the blatant religous overtones. I think Dongbaek only went to his room to confront him because he was uncomfortable, but of course we only had Ipari's POV who merely saw Dongbaek through these sinful (the lust) eyes so we only ever saw them both "enjoying it". Just before Ipari was imprisoned he said that Dongbaek no longer smiled at him, cried and would ask him to stop but I personally think Dongbaek never really consented fully and possibly at one point allowed it to continue because he did think Ipari loved him like he said which is why he went to free him from prison. Once Dongbaek went to visit and free him, he told Ipari to leave after telling him all the horrible things he's been through only for Ipari to violate him again. I think he had the box of momentos because at one point he did care for Ipari but began to hate him once he realised what Ipari was feeling was not love, it was lust and greed (especially when he said "I've finally conquered you)
I read it.... They're unreliable narrators.... I need a paragraph person since I can't determine the bottom's intention. I feel like the top was somehow manipulated but gawd.
And yeah, moral of the story, don't take stuff others have.
