It my personal opinion but Prepare to be disappointed. For me zhenya's redemption was just ass. He just got better? Like priorities takejoo's needs and he is good to his mother. He becomes more human in a sense. He never apologised for the r*pe cuz he doesn't understand this emotion
(fucking man child). You can say he becomes a red flag from a black flag at the end of first volume. But it's in character for him. I still think takejoo deserves someone better than this ugly bitch
There is a second volume which im yet to read. So who knows he might become better ( I have zero hope because I hate this bitch)
This better be a slow burn with grovelling as the most minimum requirement for redemption. Honestly I'm still hovering around this story cause i just can't let go of how beautiful the art is
