So it's just my opinion, okay? I don't really feel he changed much. Just a little bit, which is less then the bare minimum. It's more like teakjoo got used to him and accepted that he had a rough childhood. Aaaand I feel like rape victims need to cope somehow, and teakjoo's was just running with it. No love in my opinion, just two people with mental problems getting together I guess, one's possessive and the other was broken mentally until he fell to his knees and took it.
He will never turn into a green flag, idk why i see people saying that, at most he will turn into an orange flag lol. But makes sense because he is a psycho who actually will struggle to behave like a normal human being, but he will never truly get it imo. He will try though so that becomes endearing at some point for Taekjoo and readers too
