I’m glad someone else can see this. I read the comments on here and genuinely wondered if all the people defending Minwoo are actually reading the story and cannot see what an obsessive controlling manipulater he is.
He has literally controlled Joohyun’s life to the point that he can’t make his own decisions or go anywhere without thinking or mentioning Minwoo. He has to sneak and go to the welcome party because he knows Minwoo will be upset and he doesn’t socialize because he knows that. He also doesn’t have nor can make anymore friends because of ho controlling Minwoo is over his life.it’s honestly concerning and irritating.

I genuinely think the people who are defending him have to be young teens who simply find him physically attractive and feel bad for him bc he‘s had those feelings since their childhood.. which doesn‘t fucking matter in this case when he is, exactly like you said, nothing more than an obsessive controlling manipulator. him having feelings for mc does NOT give him the right to act this way

Heavy agree on the minwoo part, but abt them being "suddenly lovey dovey".. is kinda weird tho, not bc of the MC, but the ML. like up until now he has been cold asf and when the fight happens and he is being extremely angry for it but in this chapter he's being all meek and sulky
maybe its just me but he didn‘t rly seem that cold towards mc? he‘s been clinging to him and flirting with him since the very beginning and then began getting jealous and actually feeling some type of way towards mc. and yea he was angry after that fight cuz he got jealous, he thought mc only cared for minwoo but ig as soon as mc showed his concern and mentioned bringing him to the hospital he calmed down. ml also obviously has noticed that mc likes him too so ig they both are just being more direct/open abt their longing for each other now
also gotta say i binged this whole story in one sitting so maybe that‘s why my perception of it is different
btw i just went back to the fight chapter and ml literally blushed and pouted when mc took his hand to go to the hospital.. that man was not extremely angry he was just trying to act tough cuz the jealousy took over lol
It’s not just you, the ML as you said has been flirting and clinging to the MC since the beginning and has been caring towards him, even the friend (Donghoon) pointed out how he’s doing things for the MC that he normally wouldn’t or hasn’t done for anyone else. We got some flashbacks to when the ML’s previous ex broke his heart and introduced him to all the bdsm stuff that he’s into now but his feelings for the MC has been gradual. He doesn’t like the “competition” he feels with Minwoo being around Joohyun and he gets jealous of it especially when Minwoo prevents him from seeing Joohyun. He also doesn’t sleep with anyone else other than the MC.
Their recent date at the restaurant and then going grocery shopping was all flirty but the ML acted cold in the sex scene afterwards because he was jealous that every time he asked Joohyun something, he mentioned Minwoo. If you’re involved with someone, it’s easy to get angry and jealous if the person you’re interested in/messing around with keeps talking about another person who you know is romantically interested in that person. ML has been developing feelings for a while but is a bit hesitant and scared because of his ex.

and about ppl complaining abt joohyun being clueless and whatever and them being "suddenly" all "lovey dovey".. have yall actually read the story? it‘s very clear the mc knows what he wants and what his boundaries are. he also has been known abt minwoos feelings but didn’t reciprocate them so what was he supposed to do?
and obviously mc knew that ml was only "using" him for sex in the beginning but the same goes for him?? they were fuck buddies without strings at first (ml quite literally made it clear to him in the very beginning that it was just for the purpose of having sex??) but you can clearly see how both of them develop actual feelings over time…
so i really dont get how some of yall think ml was "deceiving" mc and that mc would get mad if he found out like.. mc knows exactly what he got himself into in the beginning?? lol sry had to rant real quick bc yall pmo
